An art installations focusing on food waste, will be erected during the European Week for Waste Reduction and remain in place for the whole of December during the festive celebrations. The pupils’ artwork will be created from waste materials and will represent the most common types of food that are wasted: baked goods; drinks; vegetables; salad; fruit and leftover food. The piece of art displays artwork in the shape of a Christmas trees and were created by artists Dallas Pierce Quintero. Their work will be presented in a display case, illuminated with solar-powered fairy lights.
