Textile waste is a big problem but we are trying to find ways to make it an opportunity as a resource for our area.

We are doing many things in Dunbar to do this:

Zero Waste Dunbar have 4 textile banks capturing textiles for the benefit of our locality.

Zero Waste Dunbar have funded £2000. to our local fashion school to take a line of recycled textiles to London Fashion Week 2017

Zero Waste Dunbar organise regular swap shops, rag rug workshops, big knitting with recycled textile workshops and Big Pick events.
