South Ayrshire Council have “Green Champions” who promote environmentally friendly projects throughout Council Buildings within South Ayrshire. The Green Champions then share best practice and ideas with other council staff. This has seen a reduction of general waste and and increase in recycling throughout the council, and by bringing Love Food Hate Waste on board, it brings a freshness to the Waste Management Input.
