During this year’s EWWR, MEA Borough Council will make a special effort to reduce waste across all Council offices/facilities. This will include:
• Switching off lights when not in use;
• Checking that thermostat(!);
• Promoting sustainable travel (car sharing, train, bike etc);
• No printing unless absolutely necessary;
• Use of reusable cups for take-out coffee and water bottles;
• Completing our Council Recycling Audit to see how we’re doing!
