North London Waste Authority has provided environmental charity Hubbub with funding to develop a project aiming to engage university students on how to prevent textiles waste by running three sociable clothes swap events and skills workshops, which will link to Black Friday on Friday 24 November. A textiles cube will be installed at the university, visually representing the amount of clothes thrown away in the UK every three minutes.
