Residents are being encouraged to do their bit for the environment as part of the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR).

In North Ayrshire, the Council’s Waste Awareness team will be visiting local schools as well as holding information stalls in supermarkets across the area in a bid to spread information on how residents can reduce their waste by recycling more – by putting the right stuff in the right bin.
