During this week long campaign and in the weeks to follow, the students at Zurrieq Primary School, will not only learn about Hazardous Waste Prevention, but they will also help design an awareness campaign which they will take home with them in order to raise awareness in the families of our town. We will also be setting up an organic kitchen garden where our students will grow herbs and vegetables in an organic way without the use of pesticides. Later in the year the produce will be sold in aid of a children organisation which supports families of cancer stricken children
