The school was given a shape of a gingerbread man made of wood to be decorated and then exhibited at a later date in a public garden together with other gingerbread men. Instead of opting for buying off-the-counter item decors, we are going to encourage the whole school population to bring from home, brown cork, red plastic caps, clothing/fabric no longer useful, etc to decorate this gingerbread man and that way these items are going to be reused again. After the exhibition, we are going to ask them to give it back to us, so that we can decorate again with this gingerbread for other Christmas seasons to come.
