On World Children’s Day, the youngest pupils at school will be visiting the Toy Museum in Xaghra. During this visit they will have an exposure of old toys – toys which did not work with batteries or plastic but toys made of cloth or wood.
Year 1, 2 and 3 will be going round with posters they prepared on hazardous waste, to promote the message of using common everyday items, such as white vinegar to clean the house. On that day, the school will be giving each child a stainless steel straw so as to abolish the use of plastic straws in school.
