The newly elected Eco-Schools committee will reach out outlets in Birkirakara during the European Waste Reduction Week and encourage owners and managers to do away with single-use plastics. They will also be reminded to separate waste and abide by the dates provided by the local council.

A letter written by the committee will be presented to the outlets. A copy of this letter will be presented to the judges on request.

The outlets which comply will be listed on the school’s notice board as Eco-friendly outlets.
