Promotion of the reduction of single use plastic within local schools, encouraging schools to sign a pledge to reduce single use plastics including common items such as straws, disposable cutlery, single use plastic bags and water bottles. Schools will receive a certificate to acknowledge the pledge to displayed in the school for teachers, pupils, parents and visitors to view.
