Jump The Hedges is a sustainable design studio that specialises in creating bags from disused truck tarpaulin. I source the material from all over Ireland, industrially wash it in rainwater and then manufacture it myself on a heavy duty vintage Japanese sewing machine. The business has been established for 3 years and alongside creating bags I offer workshops in community, education and business settings on sustainable design.
