WRAP shares an office building and kitchen facilities with three other organisations, this includes shared recycling facilities. Staff are pretty good at recycling their food waste, but a review of this waste stream identified that some of this food waste could have been avoided. We have agreed to introduce a ‘sharing shelf’ in each of the fridges. This will be clearly labelled and anything placed on it will be freely available to for anyone else to take. In this way we aim to reduce food waste arisings.
