It is in their workshop, in Braga, that basket makers Rosa and Manuel produce pieces with different shapes and dimensions, making use of specific techniques of what is a craft in danger of extinction. From preparing the wicker to making a basket, this is a work made of tradition. Vegetable fibre, wicker is resistant, flexible and highly durable. A sustainable, non-polluting and reusable material. After the treatment process, the artisans build the base of the basket, giving it shape, weaving rod by rod. A work made of ancestral knowledge and techniques, which are heritage of our people.
