De La Salle College Junior School in collaboration with other organizations including Birgu Scouts Group, Wave of Change, Birzebbuga Sailing Club and Birgu Local Council will be raising awareness through clean ups and other activtities about the amount of recyclable waste generated. The culmination of the project will be a sports festival joining all forces together. All members of the communities will be collecting recyclable waste, weighing it and the resulting amount of kilos will be converted in KM of various physical activities such as swimming, sailing, running and cycling.
