Online launch of “Unworn Fridays” using Social Media.
The average person in the uk has almost £800 worth of unworn clothes in their wardrobes – but 30 percent intend to buy even more items before having a clearout. A poll of 2,000 adults found 32 percent admit they have too many clothes but can’t resist the lure of a new outfit.
This initiative encourages people to wear an item of unworn clothing they have in their wardrobe and wear it on a Friday. This brings peoples attention to items they have and dont use and bring them to life by giving them a “wear” on a Friday.
