Description:

  • Print and social media campaign on the problem of solid waste and the subjects of reuse and waste reduction at source
  • Social media refillable bottle and reusable bag challenge
  • Questionnaire on school students for estimating the current state and their background knowledge
  • A number of students recording packaging waste for a week and results along with solutions and alternatives communicated to the rest of the school
  • Presentation of the problem into the classroom setting for student sensitization by a group of students
  • Measuring amount of plastic water bottles sold from the school’s canteen before and after the actions
  • Measuring amount of recycled materials within the school setting before and after the actions
  • Evaluation of the action and communication of the findings to the school students
