Description:

The proposed action is a community-based, interactive workshop aimed at educating participants on sustainable cooking practices to reduce food waste. The event will focus on how individuals can make the most of the food they purchase, by implementing smart storage methods, using leftovers creatively, and avoiding unnecessary food waste at the source. Participants will learn about meal planning, portion control, and sustainable recipes that make full use of ingredients.

The workshop will also demonstrate practical techniques for reusing food that might otherwise be discarded, turning it into new meals or products. This will promote the concept of reuse and preparing for reuse, fostering a zero-waste mindset. Attendees will engage in hands-on activities, such as food sorting and recycling demonstrations, to reinforce the importance of proper waste management and the environmental impact of food waste.
