In April 2024, Sacred Heart Junior School launched an eco-friendly initiative in preparation for the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR). The students organized a staff car wash, manually washing the cars and carefully monitoring water consumption throughout the activity. This hands-on project aimed to raise awareness about the importance of reducing water waste and highlighted the benefits of supporting car wash facilities that implement water collection and recycling systems. Through this initiative, the school fostered an understanding of sustainable water practices, emphasizing conservation and eco-conscious community behavior.
