Description:
“Complexo Uste” delves deep into the relationship between discarded matter and artistic practices.
The exhibition is set at Casa do Corim, LIPOR’s sustainability hub, showcasing art works from Árvore’s own collection – from artists such as Abílio-José Santos, José Emídio, Susana Bravo, Rafael Alves e Rosinda Casais. Exploring the coexistence of art and available resources, the ensemble values and stimulates different ways of seeing and using pre-existing matters around us, allowing for a variety of gestures, expressions and messages reflecting our everyday lives.
The exhibition can be seen until the 6th of December, Tuesday to Friday, from 09:30 to 12:30 and 14:30 to 16:30, at Casa do Corim.
The artists themselves will be guiding a tour of the exhibition on the 9th November between 16:00 and 17:00.
