European Waste Reduction Week (EWWR) 2024 Application – “Pepper Stalk Dish Cooking Workshop”

In line with the EWWR 2024 theme “Food Waste Has Been Tasted Soured”, our “Pepper Stalk Cooking Workshop” aims to raise awareness about sustainable food practices and reducing food waste. This workshop, scheduled for Wednesday, November 20 at 15:00 at the Municipal Kitchen, will demonstrate practical ways to reuse food items that are typically thrown away and treated as garbage (in this case, pepper stems) by making them ready for reuse.

Through this workshop, we aim to inspire participants to rethink food waste and embrace efficient use of resources. We will also share our event and recipe on our social media to reach a wider community beyond the workshop participants and set a positive example for the public. Our aim is to transform perspectives on food waste and promote sustainable cuisine.
