The seminar aims to increase cooperation between business and the public sector in order to promote sustainable circular business models and thereby jointly reduce waste and increase recycling.

• The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency presents Sweden’s new National Waste Plan and Program for Waste Prevention, where longevity is emphasized.
• Avfall Sverige highlights the importance of all parts of the value chain working together for one more sustainable production and consumption and innovative waste management.
• Delegationen för cirkulär ekonomi will present one of its new tools – Program explanations – which give actors the opportunity to gather around voluntary commitments that strengthen change. The program explanations will be published on the Delegation’s website.

During the meeting, there will be talks by invited lecturers from business and the public sector interspersed with interviews, panel discussions and networking.
