Description:
We will examine about our food waste habits and identify practical steps to minimaze them. Students will be given the option to track the amount of food wasted in their home for at least one day. For one week, we will monitor the amount of food wasted during school lunch and talk about which lunches are left uneaten. Each class will prepare a recipe using leftover bread, which we will compile into a recipe book. We will conduct an interview with the school’s head of nutrition, who will explain everything about the food program at our school.
