Description:
During EWWR, the Resterkocken competition is being held for the eighth year . “Resterkocken” is a cooking competition for children and young people in primary schools. The competition encourages creativity in the kitchen and aims to reduce food waste while increasing awareness about the sustainability of food. Sysav, together with its partners, organizes the competition, which rewards the best ideas for how to make use of food leftovers.
Sysav also organizes several events on the theme of food waste during EWWR, including film screenings, guided tours of a food waste facility, lectures, networking meetings, and fun competitions.
