We are waiting for you at the information day on the topic of waste reform “What should LRAs and local residents know about the new waste reform in Estonia ?” Nov 22 at Art Hotel (Lai 18, Rakvere). The event is part of the European Waste Reduction Week.
The aim of the waste reform is to exponentially increase the use of waste as raw materials and, as a prerequisite, to make the collection of waste by type easy and financially beneficial for people. It is the biggest reform of the field in a decade, which is carried out in close cooperation with sectoral experts in companies, the public sector and the scientific sector, as well as other related parties. At this meeting, we will focus on the role of the local level – we will talk about upcoming changes, emerging opportunities, share ideas, discuss and answer questions.

The allmost last week of November has been declared the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR https://ewwr.eu/). As part of this, people are urged to avoid waste generation and to use resources sparingly. The aim of the week is to raise awareness about waste reduction.
