At EcoLocal Farmers Market Moldova plastic packaging is forbidden.

Environment-friendly packaging is encouraged and reduce to minimum.

Carrier bags are reduced and discounts are offered to shoppers who bring their own shopping bags.

Loose produce, such as vegetables, fruit, flowers, nuts, bread are promoted and supported.

Glass jars, bottles and multiple use containers are accepted back by producers, in exchange for a discount.

During the EWWR we will be showcasing on social media those producers who

1. Do not use any packaging
2. Do not give shopping bags
3. Only use environment-friendly types of packaging.
4. We will also showcase consumers who bring their own carrier bags to shop.
