Rewiring the Economy, for People, Planet, and Prosperity.

Info

WHAT will be done

Description:

As part of European Week for Waste Reduction, Zero Waste Scotland is hosting an online panel of experts, discussing the critical need for a rewiring of the economy, as well as the circular opportunities we unlock by doing so.

The event will focus on how we can tackle systemic barriers currently limiting our economy’s ability to change and looks at how we can take a system wide approach to help circular strategies to thrive – discussing critical raw materials, to ecosystems, and everything in between.

Our esteemed panel, with representatives from across the globe, will share ideas on how we can empower and enable vital change – from individuals to communities, to countries and beyond.

The hour-long discussion will be chaired by Iain Gulland, CEO of Zero Waste Scotland, posing questions to participants and engaging in conversation. There will be a window at the end for live Q&A, which attendees are encouraged to take part in. The panel will be recorded and shared via Zero Waste Scotland’s website, social media channels, and stakeholder communications.
