Talas Municipality Waste Vegetable Oil Collection Campaign:
PURPOSE: To collect vegetable waste oils regularly, dispose of them in a way that will not harm the environment and ensure their recycling (biodiesel), to instill environmental awareness in schools and thus to achieve a cleaner and more livable environment in the coming years.
With the campaign launched by Talas Mayor Mustafa Yalçın, vegetable waste oils will be collected and added to the economy. It is also planned to give various gifts in order to encourage bringing waste oil. As Talas Municipality, we are undertaking important projects and applications in this regard and receiving awards.
With the campaign to be launched by Talas Municipality:
-1 lt dishwashing detergent for those who bring 5 lt vegetable waste oil,
-1 lt vegetable oil for those who bring 10 lt vegetable waste oil,
-1 pack of photocopy paper for those who bring 15 lt vegetable waste oil,
-3 microfiber cleaning cloths for those who bring 20 lt vegetable waste oil and 5 lt surface cleaner for those who bring 25 lt waste oil.

– As part of the campaign, ‘Vegetable Waste Oil Collection Cans’ were distributed to buildings and businesses throughout the Talas District of Kayseri.
