Textile Upcycling Competition and Exhibition

Description:

Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council have partnered with South Eastern Regional College, Lisburn, to run a textile upcycling competition, with students encouraged to turn unwanted clothing and textiles into new unique pieces.

The purpose of the competition and exhibition is to demonstrate how pre-loved clothing and textiles can be upcycled, reducing the need to purchase new textile items.

The competition entries will be displayed in the Island Arts Centre from 15-24 November.
