We Learn with Games: Don’t Throw Food in the Waste.

We tell students that food waste is valuable. In our third activity, we explain the value of food (reuse, reduction at source and food waste), then we will carry out 3 separate activities.

1. In our first activity (Waste Card Strategy Game): we convey food waste and food waste reduction to students by playing with game cards. Game cards include a strategy-based approach. Students will learn here that food should not be thrown away at source.
2. In our second activity (Food Ball): we play basketball with balls made from food waste to other students. Students will experience the types of waste and the consequences of waste here.
3. In our third activity (Waste Transformation): There will be a workshop on making items from waste clothes. Students will transform their own old clothes (T-shirts, pants etc.) into new products (bags, files etc.) in the workshop.

The event will be attended by middle school students.
The event will be held in the conference halls of Bakırköy Municipality Building (Osmaniye Neighborhood İsmail Erez Boulevard No:8).

Oyunlarla Öğreniyoruz: Yiyecekleri Çöpe Atmayın.

Gıda atıklarının değerli olduğunu öğrencilere anlatıyoruz. Etkinliğimiz üç nce gıdaların değerini anlatıyoruz (yeniden kullanma, kaynağında azaltma ve gıda israfı), sonra 3 ayrı etkinlik gerçekleştireceğiz.
1. Birinci etkinliğimizde (Atık Kart Strateji Oyunu): öğrencilere gıda israfı ve gıda atıklarının azaltılmasını oyun kartları ile oynarayarak aktarıyoruz. Oyun kartları strateji temelli yaklaşım içermektedir. Öğrenciler gıdaların kaynağında atılmaması gerektiğiniz burada öğrenecek.
2. İkinci etkinliğimizde (Gıda Topu) : başka öğrencilere gıda atıklarından oluşan toplar ile basketbol oyunu oynuyoruz. Öğrenciler atıkların türlerini ve israfın sonuçlarını burada deneyimleyecek.
3. Üçüncü etkinliğimizde (Atık Dönüştürme): Atık giysilerden eşya yapma atölye çalışması olacak. Öğrenciler kendi eski elbiselerini (tişört, pantalon vd.) atölyede yeni ürünlere (çanta, dosya vd.) dönüştürecek.

Etkinliğe, ortaokul öğrencileri katılım gösterebilecektir.
Etkinlik Bakırköy Belediyesi Binası (Osmaniye Mahallesi İsmail Erez Bulvarı No :8) Konferans salonlarında gerçekleştirilecektir.
