Zero Waste Competition

MAR Shopping Matosinhos and IKEA store in Matosinhos are launching a competition aimed at involving all its social media followers through the sharing of good practices. The 3 winners of the competition will receive a kit that will allow them to transport their meals to school, work, and other activities, promoting the reduction of food waste at home.

The project demonstrating a solid and lasting commitment to preventing food waste. The provision of a takeaway kit for the winners and the invitation to share individual good practices shows a significant initiative in reducing waste and create awareness about how important is to start at home.

The Zero Waste Competition, which will take place during EWWR 2024, will not only engage the community but also promote sustainable practices that can be adopted in the long term. The combination of these initiatives reinforces the relevance and positive impact of the project, perfectly aligning with the objectives of the EWWR.
