Battery Collection for Hospice Malta 2025

Description:

 

As part of EWWR 2025, Malta Freeport Terminals will be organising a battery collection drive in support of Hospice Malta. Used batteries often end up in general waste, harming the environment, yet when recycled in bulk, they can generate funds for Hospice’s vital care services. Collection points will be placed in central Freeport buildings, encouraging employees, contractors, and partners to bring in used household batteries. All collected batteries will be passed on to Hospice Malta for responsible recycling and fundraising. Internal notices, posters, and joint engagement with our partners will ensure strong participation across the Freeport community.
