Transforming Textile Waste workshops will be hosted by facilitator Sue Bamford from Tools for Solidarity. To compliment our EWWR Sewing Machine action, Sue and Tim will provide textile workshops to encourage us to rethink pre-loved items and showcase the impact of visible mending. Visible Mending shows you how to breathe new life into forgotten garments and repair favourite clothes with visible mending techniques. From torn garments to missing buttons, this initiative highlights simple ways to extend the life of our clothing and reduce waste.
