We are making youtube videos, including a cleanup video and DIY tutorials, about the invisible waste from the fishing industry.  We will highlight the issue of ghost fishing and reuse found fishing rope and line to create DIY projects.

Our idea gives purpose to items that have lost theirs. By giving them new purpose we are automatically changing their description from waste to resource. We also espouse finding these resources while out on beach cleans etc. This supports people in reconnecting with their local coastlines and water ways while keeping the areas clean and collecting these new resources. It also helds reinforce the idea that the majority of materials can be given new purpose once theior original task is complete. This helps avoid materials ever entering the waste cycle.
