Operation Clean Sweep is an international initiative implemented by the plastics industry to reduce the quantity of plastic pellets lost to the environment. The Turkish chapter of the initiative is led by the Turkish Plastics Foundation (PAGEV).

The purpose of the initiative is to ensure the careful handling of plastic pellets, granules and powders in Turkish manufacturing facilities to prevent leakage into aquatic environments.
