WHAT will be done

Description:

KTO Karatay University’s “Container Valley” project for EWWR focuses on the reuse and reduction power of recycling. It is intended to protect the environment from both visible and invisible waste that will occur during the construction of a 500 m² building from scratch using 14 containers that have been used before. To make it realize the potential of recycling to our target audience, it is intended to organize seminars, workshops and workshop events under the title of awareness -raising.

As Turkey’s First University with Hygiene and Sanitation Management System Certificate, we apply to this project by targeting recycled systems, more waste-bearing systems than appear from our innovative and environmental perspective. As a recycling-oriented university, the main purpose of our participation in this competition is to be able to to raise awareness within the KOP Region by contributing greatly to recycling and to ensure its implementation. As KTO Karatay University; to reach all universities throughout Turkey through the recycling activities we have done within our university and to ensure that Turkey progresses with the contributions of recycling in the field of economic, health and welfare by disseminating our activities.

As a result; Our main goal is to make recycling activities more feasible and sustainable that the whole world should care about. It contributes to both the environment and people by avoiding the consequences of building to be positioned from scratch and reuse.
