A pilot project to install new dedicated faucets with carbon filters in 10 guest bedrooms will be carried out. This will provide high quality 1st class water to our guests instead of the current system of putting in plastic bottled water. Not only will the guests have as much drinking water as they like but we will be saving on approximately 40,000 empty plastic bottles every year once the project is extended to all 400 guestrooms. Moreover, apart from the reduction in plastic usage, this action will save on transporting the water from the suppliers warehouse to the hotel as well as all the plastic shrink wrap that holds together the 6-packs.
