EPAVE is a portuguese Vocational School.  

Our School assumes itself as an Eco-School, developing multiple ecological projects, being one of the purpose of the School’s Educational Project “Promoting Environmental Education”.

Within the scope of this ecological philosophy, we intend to contribute to the realization of its role in the 2021/2022 school year, with the maintenance and protection of a Organic Garden.

Our Organic Garden is a project open to the entire School Community, seeking to involve partnerships with other organizations that can help the School in this environmental education aim.

Our action for the event is to involve the entire school community in cleaning our Organic Garden and reusing organic waste for composting.

This action will demonstrate to the School Community the importance of composting as an important method to transform organic waste into natural and free fertilizers.

The outcome of the action is our reactive Organic Garden through the active and conscious participation of the School Community in the sustainability of life on our planet, as well as enhancing contact with Nature.

The School Board invites the entire School Community (students, teachers and employees) to participate in the cleaning action of the Organic Garden on November 25th, through in-person invitation, poster and mailing list.

As a dissemination strategy, the focus is on creating content for social media (posts, stories and reels), with the aim of promoting the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) and our action “Activate the Organic Garden”, to a wider audience.
