This project, initiated under the umbrella of Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality, was designed to prevent the disposal of egg cartons from People’s Eggs sold in Producer Markets. It aims to encourage the public to return used egg cartons for reuse. Eggs are offered in two options, 15 and 12 counts, at these producer markets, with approximately 430 boxes sold weekly across three locations. While aiming to create social awareness about waste reduction and sustainable consumption, the project also aims to contribute to the local economy. Collaboration with local egg producers will be established during the event to facilitate the reuse of collected egg cartons. Through this collaboration, the reuse of the gathered egg cartons will be ensured. For every 25 returned egg cartons throughout the event, a ticket to Eskişehir’s most popular spot, the Fairy Tale Castle, will be provided.
