The project involves students collaborating with the NGO “Creatives for the Planet” to create a sculpture of the school’s logo using plastic waste. It is an innovative initiative that combines education, environmental awareness and art.

Project Steps:

– Planning and Design: The project begins with planning, where both the students and the NGO are involved in establishing the objectives, the design of the sculpture and the plastic materials needed.

– Collection of Materials: Members of the educational community join in the collection of plastic waste.

– Cleaning and Sorting: A stage of cleaning and sorting of the collected materials is carried out to separate them according to their type and colour, which facilitates their use in the design of the sculpture.

-Construction of the sculpture: Students work together with the artists and experts from the NGO to bring the sculpture design to life using the recycled plastic materials. Collaboration and teamwork are encouraged, and lessons in construction techniques and sustainable art are taught.

– Installation and unveiling: Once the sculpture is completed, it is installed in a prominent place in the school for the whole educational community to appreciate. An unveiling ceremony is organised, including speeches on the importance of sustainability and creativity.
