“Autumn Sustainability”
• WHAT will be done
Description:
Workshop addressing the themes of food and reuse
We will be working with chestnuts – a seasonal and national product – addressing the topics of circular economy and ecological footprint, highlighting the benefits of this choice.
Paper (newspapers and magazines) and tetra-pack packaging will be reused to create the packaging for roasted chestnuts.
Our goal is to raise awareness about the importance of waste reduction and responsible management, encouraging its reduction.
We aim to demonstrate that these practices significantly improve the quality of life for residents.
We aim to promote the adoption of long-term sustainable practices, involving two generations in this activity, fostering intergenerational interaction and the sharing of experiences and knowledge, thereby enhancing generational bonds.
The activity is targeted at the senior community of the BioSenior project and elementary school students.
Methodology
The theme will be presented in the form of a conversation, sharing knowledge and expertise;
Preparation of the fruit for roasting;

Conducting a reuse workshop – packaging.
The Sustainable Development Goals 4, 12, 13, and 15 will be addressed.
