Mid Ulster District Council will be promoting its ‘Be Plastic Fantastic’ communications campaign to residents and schools in the district. This will be via an on-going social media campaign and direct engagement asking residents and pupils to demonstrate how they have ‘changed their ways to reduce their waste’ so that they are ‘Being Plastic Fantastic’.

Recycling Officers will be at schools delivering waste education and gathering evidence of the actions taken and promoting this on social media.

NI Water will be visiting schools in Mid Ulster during November with their water bus and also delivering #Refillution talks to schools’ Eco Committees so that they can join the #Refillution and stop using single use water bottles.
