We are carrying out a cleanup at Beaumont Quarry pre picnic. If you have an hour or two to spare then we need help to tidy up the site. We are also starting conservation work on the site to help protect the habitats. We will be removing Sycamore saplings. Sycamore is a non-native tree and can be invasive in certain situations. In Beaumont Quarry, we are trying to keep an area of wet Willow woodland free of the saplings.
Gloves, bin bags and litter pickers provided along with a well-deserved tea/coffee. We are also setting up a group of volunteers to help out with practical conservation on the site. If you are interested in joining this group please email beaumontcnn@gmail.com
