On June 8, Marmara Sea Day, which is a part of World Environment Day and Week, a coastal cleaning event was organized under the coordination of the Marmara Municipalities Union.
Young environmentalists took part as volunteers in the cleaning event at Karacabey’s Kurşunlu Public Beach, which was awarded the blue flag this year. Little environmentalists, taking garbage bags in their hands, carefully collected the waste they found on the beach and gave the message ‘let’s keep our beaches clean’.
