We will run a second-hand book and toy donation campaign for children in order to review consumption habits and minimize consumption and waste for a sustainable ecosystem. The second hand books and toys to be collected from the campaign will be donated to the Tunceli/Pülümür district. According to the data of 2021, Pülümür is a small town with a population of 3,282. This action was designed to meet the needs of children in the Pülümür district, which is more disadvantaged compared to İzmir.

This action will be carried out in cooperation with our part-time preschool units, which are the executives of the 31-Day Zero Waste Programme, in which we had the opportunity to be a finalist in the 2020 European Waste Reduction Week Public Administration category. Digital posters will be shared for the campaign. In addition, verbal information will be given to parents who receive service from our part-time preschool units free of charge. In this way, campaign announcements will be made faster. Meeting areas for the campaign will also be 6 part-time preschool units and the Sustainability and Innovation Center.

Announcements will be made at the beginning of the week and the collected donations will be shipped to the Municipality of Pulumur at the end of the week. If the surplus of the need of the Pülümür District is collected, the excess donations will be sent to the other disadvantaged districts around the Pülümür District (Bingöl, Yayladere District, etc.).
