Through the action “Buzzing to food – Buzzing to knowledge” we will restore the children’s playground placed on a local beach. The playground will be restored with reused tires in the shape of different fruits and vegetables and will represent the product of the pollinators’ valuable work. Old toboggan will be colored in the shape of a bee while old protective pads will illustrate the beehives. Through drawn polygon, children will learn nine different dances of the bees, and reasons to protect the bees and different pollinators.
A new playground will serve as an interactive educative playground that will encourage children to:
1. reduce, reuse, and recycle different materials
2. protect pollinators and plants biodiversity and
3. appreciate the food they eat.
