Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council will be promoting CafeSmart, a programme to enagage cafes and restuarants in a two way process which considers sustainable resource management. During EWWR we will be encouraging catering outlets across our Borough to participate in a simple audit which highlights best practice and opportunities to improve. These will be mapped and promoted widely across the Borough through social and print media.

During EWWR we will also feature video interviews with participants so they can outline their motivations and encourage others in the process. We will ask participating businesses to engage with customers through their own social media profiles.

We will also launch an online registration process to facilitate busy owners and managers. We believe this will be very popular and generate much more interest.
