KIVO Finland, its member organizations (local waste companies nationwide) and partners organize a campaign for hazardous waste in 2018-2019.

The goal of the campaign is to get hazardous wastes separated from other types of waste, to guide the consumers to identify, sort and deliver hazardous waste properly to the right place. In addition, the aim is to increase the understanding of the consumers about the importance of the proper handling of hazardous waste.

In the autumn, the campaign focuses on reducing the amount of hazardous waste at the same time with the EWWR week in 17-25 November. The campaign will produce materials and tips to reach this exact goal. The campaign will be a nationwide social media campaign.
