Ter gelegenheid van de Europese Week van de Afvalvermindering nemen wij bij futuREproof het initiatief om een kledinginzameling te houden en zo reeds gedragen kleding een tweede leven te geven.

futuREproof is een onderneming die voornamelijk restaurants voorziet van herbruikbare verpakkingen als dienst voor afhaal- en bezorgmaaltijden. Door herbruikbare verpakkingen als mainstream alternatief te voorzien voor ‘single use packaging’ trachten wij ons steentje bij te dragen aan de verkleining van de gigantische afvalberg.

Om ons herbruikbaar verhaal over te brengen op de EWAV kiezen we daarom om kleding te hergebruiken door een inzamelactie te organiseren. Deze actie verloopt in samenwerking met Kringloopwinkel, Sint-Vincentius en Brothers of Solidarity die onze ingezamelde kleding aan mensen zullen bezorgen die het goed kunnen gebruiken.

On the occasion of the European Week for Waste Reduction, we at futuREproof are taking the initiative to organize a clothing collection to give a second life to clothing that has already been worn.

futuREproof is a company that mainly provides restaurants with reusable packaging as a service for takeaway and delivery meals.

By providing reusable packaging as a mainstream alternative to single use packaging, we try to contribute to the reduction of the gigantic mountain of waste.

In order to convey our reusable story to the EWWR, we therefore choose to reuse clothing by organizing a collection campaign.

This promotion is in collaboration with Kringloopwinkel, Sint-Vincentius and Brothers of Solidarity, who will deliver our collected clothing to people who can use it well.
