The university staff was asked to bring the clothes they do not wear or the textile products they do not use to the dormitories of the university with the official and unofficial announcements. The project aims to reduce textile waste and carry out an action for the reuse of such items, between 17 October – 27 November.

•  Preferably new or used,
• Clean (washed), unstained,
• All kinds of wearable (sweaters, shirts, dresses, t-shirts, trousers, skirts, coats, shoes, bags, bed linen, etc.) textile products without rips, tears, or holes, will be collected.

A room has been reserved for these products in both dormitories (for women and men), and cabinets have been placed in the rooms where products can be displayed (as in stores). The rooms are called ” Suspended Clothing Room / Clothing Sospeso (“Askıda Kiyafet” in Turkish)”. These rooms will also be open to students’ use between 17 October – 27 November, when the clothes are collected.

The aim of the project: provide wearable but unused clothes to the use of people who are in need, to ensure the use of idle clothes, and respond to the clothing needs of students in need.
